Being born in Rusinga Island, Kenya - I grew up while facing the same challenges as the rest of the community. I thought of how I could bring a change to my hometown, and I realized it was to work for the community by using my effort and talents in grassroots organization development.

An international traveler, photographer and teacher born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Working abroad as a certified primary school teacher from 2018 - Present - I traveled to Rusinga Island, Kenya in 2021 to live with Hella and is family as well as work in the local schools for a short time. I quickly realized that I wanted to do more than just explore, I decided to help with the Community Based Org. I serve international volunteers and donors who wish to visit, and/or donate to this incredibly vital local organization.
